I was gonna write a long entry about our great day in San Francisco, about how pumped Rachel was to see The Flaming Lips, how great the hotel room her dad got for us was, but in the end I just need to get it out. We met Wayne Coyne, lead singer of the Flaming Lips outside the hotel.

I recently beat Capcom’s “[Killer7](http://www.capcom.co.jp/killer7/english.html)” on the Gamecube, and Nintendo’s “[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening](http://www.zelda.com/universe/game/awakening/)” on the original Gameboy. There’s a painful contrast between cliche existentialist storytelling and decent gameplay. Spoiler warning?
