I was writing another blog entry about my life to keep all you happy family memebrs up to date, and this stupid blog deleted it. How can software possibly be this bad, I wonder? I have a lot of work ahead of me in this life.

2006-01-18Yeesh. So here we are, year 2006, and I have no idea how to share contact data between several connected computers. Every major OS has an address book API, and almost all of them use VCard formatted data. Well, how do you keep them synchromized? This isn’t a new-fangled Web 2.0 problem, this is the kind of thing it’s embarrasing to realize is unsolved.
Christmas Eve Street Opera in SF
2006-01-08What can you find in San Francisco on Christmas Eve other than crazy political street preachers and equally crazy Scientologists? That’s right, street performers. Or, as luck would have it, street opera singers. I enjoyed the John Cage-ish contrast of hearing delicate opera ruined by traffic, fire trucks, loud conversations, and other street performers.
